Paddington Art Prize 2012

Congratulations to last year's Paddington Art Prize winner,  Margaret Loy Pula, who has been announced as the overall winner of the 2012 Waterhouse Natural Art History Art Prize.

Entry is now open to the Paddington Art Prize 2012, a $20,000 acquisitive prize for a painting inspired by the Australian Landscape. Now in its ninth year, the exhibition of national finalists  will be held at:

Mary Place Gallery
12 Mary Place(off Brown ST.)
Paddington NSW 2021.


Opening and Prize Presentation: Wednesday 28th November 2012. 6 - 8PM.
Exhibition current until 9th December.

In addition International Art Service have generously provided their premises for the delivery, judging and collection of paintings and once again will be Sponsoring the People’s Choice Award of $2,000.

The University of New South Wales College of Fine Arts will again offer a selected artist the opportunity to create a limited edition print.

Entry: There are two methods of entry in 2012

Online Entry: Closing date for online entries Friday 12th October 6pm.
Successful artists only will be contacted: Monday 22nd October.

Painting Delivery:

Delivery of paintings to INTERNATIONAL ART SERVICES , Unit 5/55 Kent Road, Mascot NSW Phone 96671077. Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of November 2012 between( 10am and 4 30pm )

Judging: Wednesday 14th November.
