No Vacancy Gallery

The QV complex in Melbourne has been home to No Vacancy since it’s inception in early 2008 when a large, vacant retail space was converted into a temporary gallery. The success of early exhibitions led to a permanent new home in QV’s Jane Bell Lane where the gallery has been based since early 2009. The gallery extends over 220sqm in an extremely central location with large naturally lit shop-frontage, high ceilings and extensive rigging and installation capabilities. Exposed concrete floors and ceilings and huge white walls make for a flexible hanging space and a great home for weekly life drawing classes. No Vacancy QV is primarily a space for solo and group art exhibitions however our unique facilities enable us to flexibly cater for wide-ranging event types. Live music, fashion runway shows, performance, major installation works, workshops, corporate and private events have all worked well in the space. Catering and event staffing arrangements can be made through the gallery.
